Recent attacks on VP pick for the Republican Party Sarah Palin have come to a boiling point. Some so grotesque and inflammatory that I will not even address them here. So I am going to examine them in generalities. Oh and by the way…some of you may be wondering “why no posts on McCain”. Well it is obvious that the left is so afraid of Palin that she is the main topic. After all, they didn’t have a solid attack on McCain to go from anyway.

Accusation: Palin is radical because of her faith.

Truth: Barak Obama has spent almost a year trying to convince us that he is a Christian, you know, just like Sarah Palin. Secondly, I am not a charismatic person and I think there may be some fluff in the charismatic churches out there. Having said that, if you believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior I don’t give a flying liberal if you want to give a hallelujah shout or speak in tongues as long as you are genuine. If the church is off base, shouldn’t the church deal with it. After all the Liberals want separation of church and state don’t they? Obama should be praising those who share his faith. He serves the same God (we think). We don’t really want to compare Palin’s church with Obama’s do we?

Accusation: Palin was for the bridge to no where before she was against it.

Truth: Yes this is true. However she was ultimately credited by a Democratic website for stopping the project as well as everyone involved. So her “thanks but no thanks” claim is a matter of fact and public record on both sides.

Accusation: Pailin fired a librarian for not getting rid of certain books in the library.

Truth: The librarian resigned for unspecified reasons 2 years after Palin took office as governor.

There are more, all lies or half the truth. It is amazing how much this race has changed. We will have to see if Palin holds up in the debate with Biden (October 2nd) and how she handles some of her media interviews. My guess is that both are in for a surprise and that it will only strengthen the ticket further.
